Crofter Dk is a beautifully soft, standard Dk yarn that has an incredible Fair Isle effect spray dyed onto the yarn – so the yarn knits as normal and the beautiful Fair Isle effect appears as you knit. You get the look of Fair Isle without all the hard work!

Crofter Dk comes in a range of 8 subtle, Scottish heather shades, with all the pinks, lilacs and gentle greens found in the Scottish Hills and Glens. The yarn comes in a blend of 60% acrylic 25% cotton and 15% wool in 50g balls / 500g pack.

Sirdar have 9 leaflets and a book to support this new yarn launch and our designs have also been inspired by the fun and romance of Autumn holidays in the Scottish Highlands and the photography in these new leaflets and books tells the story for this yarn.

Crofter Dk has a strong fashion element that’s perfect for winter layering.
